Looking South-West from our former offices.

On September 11, 2001, our offices were located about one-half block North of World Trade Center Tower One. The day started out as usual except, perhaps, that the weather was picture perfect.... no clouds in a brilliantly clear blue sky. Begining as an out-of-place sound of a jet flying unusually low and throttling up, our lives and the world we live in were forever changed. We will not dwell on the sites, sounds or emotions of that day. As of this writing, March 2002, the building we were located in,100 Church Street in New York City, remains closed due to contamination. Some three weeks after the attack, we went back to our offices to take those items absolutely essential to our clients and our business. These are some of the photos we took at the time. Just to get into our building required passing two security checkpoints: a military and a police baracade. We wish to thank the Police, Fire Department, Port Authority, Emergency Services, FBI and other agencies for their heroic efforts that day. There can be no doubt but that some of us survived only because of their bravery. |
